Polar Shiitake Ltd was established in 1999. Along with new factory capacities came multiple export possibilities.
Polar Shiitake Ltd is Finland´s largest shiitake producer. Polar Shiitake Ltd`s organic production takes into
consideration care of the environment. It gets available raw materials from the local area. Also, liguid spawn is
produced in our
laboratories and are under continuous development.
Our mushroomries controlled growth conditions ensure that the mushrooms are of good quality. The freshest
top quality mushrooms are brought to Europe. We export the largest part of our produce to Middle-Europe;
where Finnish shiitake are
appreciated because of their cleanliness and good cooking properties.
