GENUINE, ORIGINAL NAPPA LEATHER DOG HARNESSES SINCE 1994
34 sizes. Specially tailored and measured orders, when required.
COLOURS:

Colors from left to right:
(note that the colors are not necessarily reproduced accurate in the picture)
black, grey, green, wine red, dark brown, reddish brown, light brown, beige,
pink, lime, turquoise, lavender, light blue, white
(Some dogs excrete oils from their skin, which may remove some color, particularly from dark harnesses. For lighter color dogs, I recommend using light
colored harnesses.)
The breast collar should be just above the shoulder joint.
The correct height of the breast collar can be checked by using the following: when the harness is on the dog, move its foreleg in the forward and backward direction; the breast collar should remain fully above the moving parts (shoulder joints) on the forechest.
The correctly measured breast collar remains horizontal at all times, i.e., it doesn’t rise up the dog’s neck when the dog pulls on leash, neither hang down on the shoulder joint when the dog is off leash. When looking from the side, the harnesses lie at a 90 ° angle on the dogs. The “rescue handle” follows the line of the dog’s shoulders. The tightness of the body strap (surrounding the chest) is individually dog specific; the dog must be able to breathe, but the harness should not move loosely from side to side.
The harness must sit firmly.
On short-legged dogs, the harness buckle is placed below the abdominal wall to prevent twisting during movement. Comfortable, well-fitting harness will not restrict the dog’s movement in any way.
The harnesses are suitable in principle for all dog harness needs, aside from pulling sleds, for which it is possible to manufacture alongside the harnesses with attached D-rings.
The harnesses are manufactured from luxury and soft Finnish nappa leather and treated to be water and dirt resistant. Inside the leather is mounted a support band, which prevents the harness from stretching. The harness has a Scotchlite ™ silver-grey reflective tape, which is very pliable and soft. The reflector isn’t direction sensitive, and it exceeds the highest classified reflector standards (standards EN 471 and prEN1150). The reflector is visible as bright white, when the lights of a vehicle shine on it and the degree of brightness remains the same even if the user is on the side of the road.
