Nukketeatteri Sytkyt sai esiintymiskutsun Thaimaan kuninkaan syntymapaivan kunniaksi jarjestettyyn festivaaliin Bangkokissa 3-7.12.2009.

Vierailussa oli mukana FINNAIR ja Suomen Bangkokin Suurlähetystö.

Hänen Majesteettinsa Kuningas Bhumibol Adulayadej (s. 1927) eli Rama 9 on ollut vallassa vuodesta 1946 ja on siten maailman pisimpään hallinnut monarkki. Kuningas on erittain rakastettu ja arvostettu kansan parissa.

International Culture Festival
in Celebration of His Majesty the King?s Birthday Anniversary
3-7 December 2009 Bangkok, Thailand

We are more than pleased to welcome Mr. Juha Laukkanen and his Puppet Theatre SYTKYT to join the above-mentioned festival. We think that we have seen his performance before when we organised the Thai Festival in Helsinki seven years ago.

the International Culture Festival in Celebration of His Majesty the King?s Birthday Anniversary will be the stage for the puppet troupes from different countries to show their puppets performance, exchange knowledge and experiences and to learn to appreciate each other?s know-how and techniques as well as it will provide good opportunities for the participants to meet and interact with the interested audiences of different background.

The festival will begin with the opening ceremony on 03 December 2009 displaying highlights of the ongoing cultural shows by foreign and outstanding local puppet and performance troupes.
