Porsche Net Europe's webmaster, Timo Pantsari, is the ringmaster of the Porsche webring. His job is to check out the sites that are added to the queue and keep everything running nicely. The ringmaster is the only one who can accept new sites to the ring.
The sites in the Porsche webring receive a good amount of traffic every day. A big amount of webmasters will go through the list every once in a while and will update the 'links list' on their pages. This way your site will grow more popular and well known. This also means that your site will grow more independent and doesn't have to rely so much on the ring, however many of the sites will stay in the ring no matter how popular they get.

Joining the ring

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! You will save us a lot of work if you do! If you want to join the Porsche webring, your site:

1. must ONLY be related to Porsches.
2. must have something else than just pictures and links
3. must be good in it's design (HTML, Layout). Huge one-page sites will not be accepted to the ring.
4. MUST NOT be a car raffle site. Most of the car raffle sites on the net are pure scam.
5. MUST NOT be under construction.

Your site can be a commercial Porsche site or just an enthusiast's page. Your site will remain in the queue for so long that it is checked it out by the ringmaster. If your site is not accepted to the ring, you will get an email response. If your site is turned down, you can send an email and ask the reason why wasn't it accepted.

Here's what you do to get in the ring:

1. Place the HTML-fragment code to your site.
2. Use the submit form to submit your site for inspection.

That's it! It normally takes anywhere from a day to three weeks to get the site analyzed, due to massive amount of other work that we have to do on the side of this.
