A very bright W-E oriented galaxy, brighter in the middle. There is a pretty bright supernova (SN2007gi) on the west edge. Estimated magnitude is 13 mag. Also something twinkled occasionally with averted vision on the east side of the core. Some field stars might be missing because the object was sliding behind the trees.
