Angel of True Love: Angel of True Love automatically knows, whether someone it either touches or visually or orally examines for at least one turn is truly in love as well the object of its love. When touching a person the Angel of True Love can detect what is the greatest obstacle preventing a person from reaching true love. If the Angel of True Love touches two persons simultaneously, the Angel of True Love can also detect, whether true love between those persons is possible.

Help someone achieve true love.
Help to restore love to an outcast angel, renegade demon, fallen angel or a demon and thereby achieve redemption of that lost soul (+3 essence).

Zebadiah is a Seraph and has been around some 2000 years. And one can truly say, that he has been around. After finishing his basic training with Dominic's troops Zebadiah was ready and eager to serve the Judgment, to seek out heretic angels and otherwise unquestionably follow his Master Dominic's orders. And so Zebadiah sought out those braking the law in order to bring such persons and beings to the Judgment.

The first event, which began to raise questions in the determined and rather one-track mind of Zebadiah was one involving a distinguished Master of Dreams Jelial and the object of his love, which happened to be an ethereal spirit. Unfortunately the Seraphim Council had just recently taken a decision to banish ethereal beings from the corporeal plane. Like a dutiful servant that he was, Zebadiah immediately reported his findings to Dominic who in turn decided to send a party of Uriel's Malakites to remedy the situation. Well, the situation was indeed solved as the Malakites attacked Jelial and his love causing his heart to brake and soon thereafter Jelial fell. According to the latest reports Jelial now serves in the forces of Lusifer and has been granted the word of Nightmares of Lost Love. It was little consolation, that Uriel was soon called in front of the Seraphim Council to answer for his actions and taken to the Higher Heavens.

Ever since this event, which according to Zebadiah's understanding was unfortunate and where Zebadiah's own actions, even though they were in accordance with Dominic's orders and the service protocol, did not seem right, Zebadiah has been keen to question, whether his actions have been justified or not. Even when acting in triad duty it has not been easy for Zebadiah to decide, what would be a justified punishment for each violation of Heavenly law. Therefore Zebadiah was quite content, when he was in the beginning of the 1800's assigned to quite an independent role in investigating potential cases of heresy. As a result of these comprehensive investigations, which even in the case of Marc seemed to result in quite a satisfactory outcome, Zebadiah was even considered for the vacant word of Investigations.

However, destiny, or perhaps fate, seemed to have other plans for Zebadiah. In addition to his quest for trying to act in a just way, another thing troubled Zebadiah. In Zebadiah's opinion there was something wrong which the general atmosphere in Heaven. It seemed to be, that each Archangel had its own agenda and only seldom did their servitors operate together and even during those rare occasions the common theme seemed to be an attempt to further each Archangel's own cause irrespective of any common goal, which could have been established with some effort. However, Zebadiah considered even more alarming the general distrust, which was being felt by many of the other angels towards the servitors of Judgment. Zebadiah confronted Dominic on this issue and tried to the best of his abilities convince Dominic, that Judgment could be better served, if some modifications would be made to the investigating and judging practices, which would have according to Zebadiah's understanding made the Judgment more just. Dominic was not impressed and in fact began to question Zebadiah's loyalty to the Judgment.

Although Dominic's concern was unwarranted, the special attention shown towards Zebadiah resulted in harassment by a small party of corrupted angels of Judgment. While Zebadiah began to investigate the allegations of corruption amongst Dominic's servants the persecution got even worse and finally the corrupted servitors of Judgment were able to convince Dominic to order Zebadiah to be jailed on the count of heresy. Zebadiah was beside himself and demanded to be able to see Dominic himself, but the corrupted angels insisted on Zebadiah being placed in Will Shackles, a demonic invention, which would sap the wearer's will to a point of not being able to resists any order. Since the apprehending triad was among those strongly suspected by Zebadiah for corruption, Zebadiah felt as if he had been placed in an impossible situation. Zebadiah decided, that his duty to discover the truth and to try to discover the heretic angels outweighed even his duties to obey Dominic's apparently authentic and possibly even just Judgment. So Zebadiah after a mighty mental struggle broke his heart and with the held of Eli's alliance was able to escape his persecutors. During the time of Transaction (*) Zebadiah served in Eli's troops and although Zebadiah's actions may have left something to be desired, Zebadiah's attitude and commitment was much appreciated by the Archangels belonging to Eli's alliance.

At the time Andrealphus redeemed Heaven was on a place of turmoil. Rumors were flying wild, that Andrealphus had not even been granted the word of Love, but he somehow had all along had it. This unprecedented incident caused much speculation in Heaven. First of all, the trust to the motives and methods of the reinstated Archangel of Love was, well, less than complete. The most common concern was the ability of the former Demon Price of Lust to abandon his former methods of operations and to concentrate on the promotion of Love. Zebadiah had in the turmoil of the transaction decided to voluntarily break his own heart in order to avoid the persecution of the Inquisitor Javan, Master Seraph of Judgment, and other corrupted Dominicans. Zebadiah served during to Transaction in the troops of Eli and at least Eli was quite impressed with Zebadiah's performance. After the Transaction Dominic still was not very pleased with the fact, that Zebadiah had, according to Dominic's view, taken the justice to his own hands in joining Eli's forces. Even Dominic had to admit, however, that Zebadiah's actions were at least pardonable and Zebadiah was accepted back to the ranks of Judgment. In addition to accepting Zebadiah back to his troops Dominic made it absolute clear, that Zebadiah, a formed candidate for the work of Investigations, would never, at least for the next 1000 years, receive such an independent status, which Zebadiah has enjoyed prior to the troubles of the Transaction, let alone to ever receive any word from the field of Judgment. After a short period spent in service to Song, where Zebadiah along with his true love Eiriel, Mercurian of Song, Angel of ??? helped Zimran, Archangel of Song to restart his operation, Zebadiah requested a transfer to the ranks of Love. Zebadiah felt that in order to achieve his personal idea of good, he had to abandon the gloomy shadow of the Judgment. Because Zebadiah certainly wasn't willing to abandon Eiriel, Zebadiah insisted, that he could also in future operate in close connection with Eiriel. Andrealphus and Zimran did not see any reason to object this arrangement, since anything else would not have produced the optimum outcome for either Archangel. When questioned as to his final loyalty Zebadiah answered, that he would always be loyal to the True Love.

While the other angels of Love are assigned mainly to such duties as promoting and protecting love between humans and angels, Zebadiah's assignment is somewhat different. Depending on the speakers attitudes towards the Love and the Judgment Zebadiah is, either with good humor or despising comments, best known among with his fellow angels as the Love Police. In addition to being the unofficial head of Andrealphus' internal investigation and information department it is the duty of Zebadiah to discover and remove the rotten apples trying to poison the purity of Love. Oh, and should Zebadiah have time, nothing pleases Andrealphus more than a news that Zebadiah has in the course of his often quite unpleasant duties managed to bring to people together by using Love as the adhesive.

According to Zebadiah's profound view true love is to accept and to love someone as he or she is without any false pretenses, auxiliary motives or misrepresentations. Zebadiah is not concerned with whether the love gets response in kind, lasts, is passionate, young, old, first, last or whatnot. Zebadiah is a Seraph and his focus is the truth. Some even claim, that Zebadiah does not understand, what love is all about. While this is not exactly accurate, Zebadiah is keen to point out, that the mechanics of love are so complicated, that even Andrealphus has not been able to define them in such a manner, which would make it possible to objectively determine the importance of different factors. Irrespective of such technical difficulties Andrealphus and Zebadiah have come to the common understanding that such methods as soliciting unanswered love from someone with the intent of monetary, social or political gain cannot be accepted. However, being a Seraph, Zebadiah's main interest is the truth. Therefore Zebadiah has no complaints with marriages of convenience or other similar arrangements, where all parties involved are aware of the true motives behind others actions.

So Zebadiah keeps stalking around, questioning angels servicing Love as to their methods and any suspect cases, which may have come up during the performance of their respective duties. Always, when Zebadiah becomes aware of such circumstances, which may give reasons to suspect the motives of someone appearing to be in love, the person can expect a visit by a friendly, reasonably attractive person of his own sex just bumping into the person in a bar and offering a drink.

During his short term at the office Zebadiah has been quite successful in establishing a reasonably comprehensive information service to provide much needed information concerning those in love from the field. Two thousand years as a part of the wheels of Judgment certainly had given Zebadiah suitable experience of how to gather and process information. Even Andrealphus seems to be quite happy with Zebadiah's performance, since Zebadiah's work lets the Archangel of Love to concentrate on promoting Love in its all form. Andrealphus is more than pleased with the fact that someone else comes behind to separate the faulty fruits of Love from the real thing.

In addition to his other, quite tedious duties, Zebadiah has been quite active in promoting the potential of Love among the servitors of Judgment. Zebadiah has been particularly keen to emphasize the necessity of the understanding of Love in order be able to deal judgments in the right and justified manner. When Zebadiah first began this practice Dominic had the intention to stop this nonsense before scarce resources would be wasted and invited Zebadiah to a serious discussion. The exact contents of this discussion remain unknown but ever since particularly Seraphim of Judgment have been known to serve some time in service to Andrealphus prior to entering full fledged triad duty. It is also not uncommon that even more experienced servitors of Judgment take some time of the extremely consuming work of Judgment and get to know the process of Love by "doing it". It is speculated that Dominic saw the truth in Zebadiah's words and therefore decided to silently accept Zebadiah's work among the Dominicans. After all, everybody remembers what happened during the transaction and Dominic certainly does not want another scandal involving the Judgment.

In addition to the elimination of lack of understanding of Love among servitors of Judgment Zebadiah also has one more personal agenda. Perhaps in order to restitute the wrong, which Zebadiah feels he himself was at least partially responsible, when Jelial was driven to fall, Zebadiah is determined to offer any fallen angel a second change, if they are willing to accept it. While Zebadiah's first concern is those treated unfairly in relation to the events connected with the Transaction, Zebadiah has set his sights to going though all angels who have fallen. Yes, all fallen angels, which means that the list is definitely long and in some stage things are bound to get very difficult.

Servitors of Love are, among those of Flowers, generally known as most warm and open Angels in Heaven. This description does not exactly fit Zebadiah, who takes his job very seriously. If it wasn't for the balancing force of Eiriel many suspect, that Zebadiah would turn back into his former "Dominican" self of only seeking corruption and those breaking to Heavenly law. But these worries are unwarranted, because Zebadiah has indeed seen the light of the symphony through Eiriel's exquisite song and Zebadiah now firmly believes, that the only way to win the war is to use Love to conquer obstacles set by Lusifer. The fact that Zebadiah often fails to convey this trust to his fellow angels may be charged to his, well, Seraphic nature.

*)After certain rather extraordinary events which resulted in Marc, the Archangel of Trade trading his title to Marc, the Demon Prince of Deals along with such additional goodies as, additional word forces and the removal of such irrational restriction as "fair trade". It's all about the money, profit margins and gains, after all! However, in the turmoil the Heaven accepted the redeeming Andrealphus, the former Demon Prince of Lust, who somehow, without any acts from the Seraphim Council, soon had the word of Love and within a week a superior status to go along with it. Along with Andrealphus came two long lost Grigori Archangels Azrael, the Archangel of Death and Zimran, Archangel of Song, which were after even more heated arguments pardoned from their earlier judgment of being turned into outcasts.
