Baltazar Mk II
Umeå, 2002

The story so far...

Baltazar has been active since Autumn 1999, with hundreds of gigs played in Sweden, Finland and Norway. In the beginning, out of the urging need of playing music emerged this immaculate ensemble, like the mighty Phoenix once raised from the ashes... what the hell am I jabbering: guys just wanted play some good ole buttkicking rock music! After a few gigs working F.O.H. as the sound technician for the band, Terzi was lured into the sinful life style of a rock'n'roll band with all the wild backstage parties etc.: he started to play keyboards in Baltazar.
One of the original band members, Tsu, left the band in October 2002 and some rearrangements were to be made. As a result of that,
Harm-O had to put aside his guitars, stop imagining he was Angus Young's twin brother and start taking care of the four-string... At this point, the band welcomed a new guitar player, Jake E. Tee, a tremendously talented musician, with lots of new ideas for the band and a singing voice women simply could not listen to without throwing their thongs on stage...
In November 2004 Don Mar decided not to continue in the band anymore, as he wanted to stay fully focused to his troubadour duo. Maybe the birth of his third child had to do with his decision? Who knows? Anyway, good luck to Mr Laine, formerly known as Don Mar, on his almost-solo career! Break a leg!
Now, Baltazar carries on with combined vocal power by Jake E. Tee, Harm-O and Freddy, the newcomer in the band (but not in the music business, for sure!), blazing drums by Rob and the master technician / keyboard wizard Terzi. We wish all our fans and friends the very best. See you!
