To-do in the snow
Since You are in Finland, You are due to cross-country ski and go for
winter-fishing on ice.
Vääntäjän Tila will provide great oppertunities for
both of these fine activities.
Winter-fishing is allowed without a licence and fish will be plenty. An
auger drill and a rod with lures You can borrow from us, but if You are
a real fisher You probably have Your own precious tools with You.
Cross-country skiers will find lots of hills to ski up and down, tracks
we will ride smooth with a snowmobile every once and then to make skiing
easy and enjoyable.
If You are fearless and daring, You might try swimming in a frozen lake
with hot sauna.
It is said to be the ultimate cure for almost every pain and illness there
might exist.

lead over hills, through snowy forest,
and on the frozen lakes.
Children can ski, go hill-sliding with sleds,
(Who did say grown-ups can not... ! ! !)
build snow-castles and snowmen as they want.
Don't lock Yourself inside in winter.
There is a lot of fun out there. Go for it.

The nearest place for downhill-skiing, Mielakka ski center is located
in Kouvola, half an hour away.
There You'll find 5 slopes, a halfpipe, 5 elevators, a restaurant and
equipment for rent.
There is much more You can do
You can ask a chance to ride a snowmobile or in a horse-sleigh from Your
host.
A horse-riding stable is located near by.
