Canoe Safaris on the beautiful Valkeala Route
From early May to late October You can go canoeing in the great scenes of the Valkeala Route waters.
The water-route used since ancient times, will lead You from a lake to another via rivers
and currents all the way from the great lake Saimaa to the mighty river Kymi.
On the route there are small rapids, easy for even beginners to ride (or to walk around if felt too wild)
We will help You to choose the most suitable part of the route according to Your wish and skills
Custom Canoe Safari
Custoimized just for Your party
A skilled guide will lead the Safari along the route, exclusively chosen for You
A lunchbreak and additional program may be included, and the safari topped with a relaxing bath in a hot sauna and a swim in a lukewarm lake followed by a tasty dinner
Adventurers' Safari
Your
party will canoe along the chosen route according to your own timetableFor the Safari You will be provided with routemaps, canoes, accessories and transport
A lunch along the route and any additional program may also be included

New SUURSALMI - villa
By the summer 2003, the new multi-purpose villa "Suursalmi" was ready for use
The 2-floor Suursalmi-villa is placed on the slope of the riverbank being a luxury
one-family house by size and equipment
Plenty of room for your holiday - 140 m2 altogether on two floors
The level-floor includes three bedrooms and a large livingroom-kitchen with a fireplace
In addition, under roof a large balcony over the river and on the other side a wooden patio
The ground-floor includes a large sauna, a bathroom and a 50 m2 multi-use room
dominated by a large fireplace. This large room may be altered for the customers' needs
as a dining/ball-room, for business meeting/lecture room or it may be divided with moving
walls into a dressing-room for sauna and an extra bedroom
Outside the ground-floor is located a covered terrace with a view over the river
A swimming platform and a row-boat will also be at your private use
Business meetings/lectures and private celebrations
In addition to holiday-use Suursalmi changes easily as a site for meetings, lectures, education
or private parties
The premisies are planned to serve up to 30 persons at a time and equipped with
TV-set, VCR, an overhead projector and screen, etc.
Our catering service will provide all meals and other servings for your occasions

Delicious food around flaming fire in Loimutupa-cabin
Loimutupa-cabin is a place in the nature to gather arounda bonfire for a party
The center of Loimutupa is an open fireplace with a grill and stowe for making dishes of all kinds
In Loimutupa You will party with Your friends around the fire, eating, drinking and living it up
There will be room for up to 30 persons to dine in Loimutupa
Parties

Dining
Loimutupa acts as a base for trekking and other activities
in the nature. A tasty lunch around an open fire will top your
day after returning from the wilderness
Accomodation
If necessary, Loimutupa can accomodate up to ten travellers
in their own sleeping-bags more comfortable than any tent
Also breakfast will be available from our catering-service
Delicious food
You
will always be eating and drinking well in LoimutupaThe menu may include e.g. flame-roasted trout or barbecued pork, sallads, salmon- or gulash-soup
or lighter chinese-style dishes made in a wok and of course our tasty waffles with jam for dessert.
The great meal will be topped with fresh hot coffee

From Deceber to April the ice will be thick enough to go ice-fishing
Around Vääntäjän Tila there are numerous lakes and ponds for a fisherman to challenge
You are welcome to find out at which end of the line the smart one will be picking
The necessary fishing-licences may be obtained through us. Please ask for details.
Catering service will be available

Valkeala district is famous for it's large forests and unspoilt, wild and beautiful nature
Despite of that, we are located only about two hours away from Helsinki city,
less than 100 km from the south coast of Finland.
