'YELLOW WAGTAILS' FROM KAZAKHSTAN
May 2008
On this page, there are images of 15 different
individuals (5 females + 10 males) which I believe should be best called as
Motacilla flava feldegg from Almaty province,
Kazakhstan.
In order to be able to show as many different individuals as
possible, I have chosen to add also images of lower quality (usually shot form
longer distance), as long as at least some plumage details can be seen well
enough.
I am not 100 % sure that some "different" individuals could not
actually be same birds, though I have tried to avoid this by checking plumage
and photography details. However, the birds - males in particular - moved quite
a lot around our Karaoy camp area which makes the interpretation of
different individuals more complicated.
