11.12. Started Tinka (Lassagårdens Nightingale) in field trial in november. I was very pleased how she behaved during the drives (2,5 hours with no retrieves) eventhough we didn't get a result. In our first retrieve she accidently flushed a bird which was shot right in front of her. Couldn't stop her from retrieving it... Picture from last winter, when we actually had some snow!

7.10. Last cold game test of the season in Pomarkku. I started with Tinka in winners class with the result 2. prize. We had (again) some trouble with triple mark, where she needed assistance with the last one. Nice consistant job though! Tinka's brother Nitro (Lassagårdens Non Stop) had a better day and he recieved his third 1st prize and can now be called Finnish Hunting Champion (FI KVA). Congratulations for Mervi and Nitro! Mika with Waterfowler Aloe did a nice job with first prize in beginners class. Three 'puppies' from Laava's and Swiffer's litter were qualified in the field during the weekend.

24.9. Bacchus (WF Ace) has recieved beginners 1. prize in working test and was placed 3rd. Tinka herself was competing in winners class again in 6.9. and recieved 2. prize due one missed mark (from a triple mark). She was placed third in the distric championships in Varsinais-Suomi. Manta (WF Avon) had her first beginners class test on the weekend and were prized with a second prize in a fairly difficult test. Congratulations!

3.9. Levenghyl Roll the Dice has arrived (more info on the Dogs -page). First impression is very promising. Thank you Peter and Philippa for this little girl! Our trip to England was a success in every aspect and we enjoyed our many visits to different kennels. Some very interesting stud dogs where seen ;-) Thank you for having us!

29.07. For my big surprise - 'Tinka' (Lassagårdens Nightingale) recieved 1. prize in winners class ate our very first attempt! Especially her work was thanked for the efficient free search. Next weekend Labrador Championships...

22.07. And here she goes again - Open 1. prize and 2. prize in working test for 'Sissi' (WF April)! And right after on the next weekend Open 1. prize in cold game test! You are soooooo good! My own dog Molli WF Annie started in cold game beginners recieving 1. prize. So thats about that for her this summer :-)

6.7. Just few days before her 2-years birthday 'Sissi' (WF April) started first time in Open class (cold game) and recieved 2. prize. Congratulations!

3.7. WF April and WF Ace first prize in Cold Game beginners class. Nice! In the beginning of June I and Tiina made a trip to Switzerland and came home with a puppy; Haredale Torry. Dude is a yellow male out of Carolhill Quistador, a very merited INT FTCH living in France. Dude's mother is Haredale Kanya is herself merited both competition and breedingwise, so we'll have very high hopes for this little Dude!

27.4. Aqua is a funny thing - she just does it. She is a really talented bitch with lots of energy and willingness. This time result Open 1 (points 90/100) and class winner in working test 18.4. Aqua is also awarded The Most Promising Young Dog 2008 in Retriever Club Uusimaa. Congratulations Tobina and Aqua.

19.2. Time to start training again - we have a bit more light again. A little too much snow, but for instance in horse paddock the horses have trampled the snow down and these areas can be used. Also some pheasant shoots are still left and Tinka doesn't seem to mind too much for the missing teeth. 'Mervi's boys' are now genetested and the results are: 'Nitro' (Lassagårdens Non Stop) CNM & EIC Clear, 'Tipi' (Ravensbank Tip) EIC Clear, he is already CNM clear by parentage. Good news!

4.2. The heart of the winter. Just by accident I noticed broken teeth in Tinka's mouth, which is now pulled out and big hole left. So at least couple of weeks with no pheasant shoots for Tinka. Laava is now back home from maternity leave and seems like herself, good and bad ;-) Molli had her rabies antibodies tested and first time in my experience with negative result. So she has to be vaccinated again and then wait another four months for re-testing. It's good, that we are not going anywhere...

14.1. EIC (exercise induced collapse) genetest results: Lassagårdens Nightingale Clear, Chilihunters Pride Bailey Clear and Aqua vom Gutshofsberg Clear. Also the father of A-litter, Chilihunters Game Glen was tested Clear so the whole A-litter is Clear by parentage. Nice!

4.1. Last health results from Tinka's (Waterfowler A) litter have arrived. W. Abel has AA hips and 00 elbows. From seven puppies six have result AA 00 and one BB 00. All have clear eyes.
