	NEW SONGS FROM AGONIZER'S DEBUT ALBUM Agonizer's debut album "Birth / The End" is released today in Finland. Listen the songs "Sleepless" and "Black Sun" at http://www.myspace.com/agonizer. Album's international release date is 6th of August, 2007.

	Agonizer releases it's debut album in world record depth Agonizer & Pyhäsalmi mine presents Heavy Metal Underground +1400 Agonizer makes history by releasing it's debut album "Birth / The end" in a world record depth of 1400 meters underground. World record depth concert will be available only for a limited audience as a safety measure. With this concert Agonizer will make Guinnes record "Deepest Concert Underground". Breaking the record in the future will be quite difficult because the Pyhäsalmi mine, working as the concert place is the deepest in Europe. Heavy Metal Underground, "after party": After the concert in the mine, Agonizer will be playing for a larger audience in Hotel Pyhäsalmi. Tickets for this concert will cost 2e.

	AGONIZER SIGNS WITH SPINEFARM RECORDS Agonizer's hard work finally paid off as the band signed a record deal with Spinefarm Records. Agonizer, formed in Pyhäjärvi, Finland in 1998, has released five self-produced demos. Among other things band has represented Finland in Wacken Open Air´s Metal Battle-contest in Germany. 	AGONIZER GOING TO STUDIO After a very long wait Agonizer shall be going to Astia-Studio (Lappeenranta) for their debut album in 18.09.2006. The recording will take place in two separate sessions and the album should be ready in November. Name of the album is not yet decided but the songs will be as follows: 1. Prisoner 2. Harmless Hero 3. Everyone of Us 4. Indifferent 5. Prophecy 6. Sleepless 7. Black Sun 8. Birth / The End Total lenght of the album will be roughly about 40 minutes and the whole recording will be self-produced.

	FINALLY SOME NEW INFORMATION FROM THE NUCLEAR BLAST'S BAND CONTEST: We noticed that there’s some ongoing flurry in the message board concerning the band contest. No surprise, ‘cause the deadline for submissions dates back several months now and rumours are that the whole thing just fizzled out. That is definitely not the truth! We here at Nuclear Blast take this whole contest very seriously and therefore we’ve got to give it the time it takes, which is a bit longer than expected. Listening to the several thousands (!) of entries not only showed us once again, that the metal-underground is alive and kickin’ like never before, but there are a lot of new and fresh bands who definitely deserve their chance, and they will get it sooner or later. It has taken a lot of time filtering out the best bands out of so many REALLY good entries. Right now, we’re in contact with some bands and we’re confident to present the winning band by the end of June (yeah, this year!). We are terribly sorry to keep all you bands, Fans and interested Metalheads on tenterhooks, but one thing’s certain: the winnig band will kick some serious butt, so the few extra weeks of waiting will soon be forgotten. 	AGONIZER TRIED, BUT DIDN'T WIN THE METAL BATTLE On W.E.T. Stage the first hours of Metal Battle took place. Six bands out of six countries: STIGMA (ITA), UNLEASH THE FURY (B), MANIFEST (N), AGONIZER (FIN) and TUATHA DE DANANN (BRA) was fighting for big points from the audience. But GORILLA MONSOON (GER) has won, because they really was the best in all categories. www.wacken.com

	AGONIZER'S KEYBOARD PLAYER LEFT THE BAND Agonizer's keyboard player has left the band. The reason is the lack of his personal interest. We're trying to figure out how we'll get over this. Maybe Agonizer will make some new music without the keyboards, or with keyboards. Hard to say just now. If there's some sad news, there's some good news also. Atte Palonagas is now the full member of the band.

	NEW GIG DRUMMER TO AGONIZER Few very good drummers advertised for the gig drummer's place. One of them, Atte Palokangas sent few videos to us and these clips really called our attention. So we visited his hometown and we played our songs with him. For our happiness we noticed that our new gig drummer is here! So the guy behind the drums at upcoming gigs is Atte Palokangas.

	WORLD OF FOOLS -EP SOLD OUT Agonizer's World Of Fools -EP, a print run of 1050 copies, is sold out about a year. We have promoted our EP about two hundred copies and the rest has been sold by a different stores and by our distributors, the Finnish Firebox Records and the German Hellion Records. They have earned a huge thanks for the distribution. So the covered EP's has been sold out, but there are still a lots of promos in so called plastic pockets, so all kind of gig organizers, webzines, magazines, radios, etc. don't have to worry. Agonizer would like to thank everyone, who has bought the record!
