Finally!!!! :-D :-D :-D First good aurora in 10 months, first good one after the 6th of November 2001!!! I am so happy! :-)
The show went on all night and among the other things it had these ingredients:
Pretty nice tall and bright rays, somewhat nice curtains and wonderful bright green arcs.
Colors varied from faint to pretty bright green with some red and for sure also lot's of blue in the photos.
The show offered also my first good corona after the 6th of nov and had just awesome wave like pulsation. One of the brightest half sky big pulsation that i have ever seen! Just...great! :-)
Then as an bonus price i spotted quite a many shootings stars, maybe caught one in to photo AND saw a distant thundercloud simultaneuosly with the aurora!!!!! So...now i have seen that too. What a lucky night! :-)

Cameras:Nikon SLR and Canon Powershot S30 digital camera
Settings:Nikon: 15 sec, 28mm f/2.0 and Fuji Provia 400F. Digi: 15 sec , f/2.8 and ISO 100 and 200
Other notes:
So...pictures on the upper row were taken with Nikon and normal film, while the pics on the other row were taken with digicam.
