to my homesite and to the fascinating world of photographing. For a couple of decades already, photographing has been my hobby and even still it keeps on interesting me. Alongside with the traditional ("immortalizing") manners, computer-based digital photo processing has aided me to take my means of expression to whole new extents during the past few years.

• RISTIINA PHOTO GALLERY
  
  Introduces the beautiful little parish of Ristiina by eight different categories of photographs. Ristiina was founded by count Pietari Brahe in the 17th century, though the earliest signs of inhabitation can be traced back to the Stone Age; for instance, the largest petroglyphs in Scandinavia are located in Ristiina. Ristiina lies in the exquisite area of Lake Saimaa, hence it's highly favoured by cottagers and holidaymakers during summers, even though the official population is rather few in numbers.
