My story began 22nd of June 1976 in Kuopio. Kuopio is a city in Finland and there lives almost 90 000 people.
When I was 4, I became a big brother. Timo was born 1980 and was followed by Laura one year later. We lived our early childhood in a place called Hiltulanlahti.
I begun my school in a small primary school called "Hiltulanlahden ala-aste" and it was there, where I decided to become a math teacher. After the first six school years I started junior high in Kallavesi junior high school, which was located in the center of Kuopio.
When I started senior high school, I didn't have to even change the building. I graduated from Kallavesi senior high school in 1995.
Now it was time for the army. I served in signal troops in Mikkeli. After long 11 months, I was ranked as an under sergeant and finally free to begin the studies to become a teacher.
I started my studies at the University of Joensuu in 1996. After five years and numerous games of Bismarck, I became a Master of Science on July 24th, 2001.
I got my first job as a physics teacher at Lieksa senior high school. At spring 2002 I moved to Eura and taught youngsters at Eura junior high. I taught at North Karelia Polytechnic in 2002-2003 before I got a permanent job at "Elomaan koulu" (Hirvensalmi junior highschool).
Hirvensalmi is about 35 km southwest from Mikkeli. I lived there about 3 years. Nice and peaceful little place.
I got married 3.8.2005 in a small Polish town called Zawichost. In the summer of 2006 we (my wife Agata, our little dog Tina, even smaller turtle Leni and me) moved to Jyväskylä. I have been working still at Elomaa's school, driving about 200 km a day between Jyväskylä and Hirvensalmi. We live in Kuokkala.
