Village from 1800 century. Very nice piece of history is found in Pienmaki in Hankasalmi. Why not stroll through small paths between old houses remembering You from the vanishing past. Look at the fence. It is called pole fence. Making fences like this example is very useful, because bears and wolves cannot come easily to courtyard. Also it is very cheap, because new material is found in the woods.

Look at what people are doing there. They are washing their carpets at quay with sea water and fluid of pine tree oil soap. Most of Finnish people wash their carpets in some communal washing sites. It is still odd, because nearly every body are taking off their shoes when they go to their homes and they leave them in the porch and are walking inside home in one's stocking. The Finns love so much tidiness in their homes, that using once a week vacuum cleaner, is not enough, they want still once a year wash their carpets. Wow!
