Monument of Sibelius (1865-1957) in Helsinki. This monument is created by Eila Hiltunen and it is made from 600 acid-proof stainless steel tubes.

One and the only one finnish submarine "Vesikko" from year 1933 in Suomenlinna. During 1939-1944 it was part of finnish navy. The Treaty of Paris in 1947 forbade Finland to have military submarines (nowadays we are making tourist submarines and those You can meet around the world). Now You can visit this historical submarine in dry dock in Suomenlinna fortress outside Helsinki by boat (15 minutes).

Langinkoski - Imperial Fishing Lodge near Kotka. Czar of Russia Alexander III (1881–94) founded this Fishing Lodge in 1889. He visited Langinkoski during many summers. Nowadays it is as museum. You can fish here brown trout, salmon, grayling and pike.

When driving in countryside off the highways, You can meet old romantic wind mills. This wind mill You can see between Ruokolahti and Puumala.

In Helsinki we preserve old wooden houses. It is exiting to stroll through these peaceful streets. Remember to take camera with You.

Porvoo, 50 kilometres from Helsinki is full of history. Here You meet history with present. Enjoy here some nice cup of coffee in town's many romantic coffee houses.

Suurkirkko / Tuomiokirkko (in Finnish) or the Cathedral of Helsinki from year 1830. This beautiful church is one of the most visited churches in Helsinki.

Do we know anything about other countries? Maybe - You decide. Is there in the world any other toilet of memories - Elvis toilet in Pieksamaki. This toilet is packed full of Elvis memories and can be found in small city Pieksamaki 300 kilometres north of Helsinki. Do not stay too long time in this toilet, because other persons may need also to visit toilet. Worth to visit although You do not really need to go to toilet. Wow.

Why not sail to Finland and check our lakes by boat? There is connection to inland's waterways through Saima canal, which is 42.9 km length.
