My greatest hobbies are
bridge and other armchair sports. I was introduced to bridge game in 1966, but
I have only played regularly since 1980. For ten years I was the Vice Chairman
and Tournament Director of my local bridge club in Tampere, but I left these
duties when I moved to Helsinki. Nowadays I play on the BridgeBase Online sites only.
On September 29, 2006 I run
my first Salted Salmon tourney and was soon asked by satto aka Pia to help out
as Tournament Director in SBC. Today, I have the honour of being the HEAD
Tournament Director of Satto's Bridge Club. Besides, I sometimes assist in CBC and VFL Tournaments. During the years of
playing and directing tournaments on BBO, I have made a lot of nice friends.
