Sharing Times with Marjomia
Poems from the Heart

Snow
My Darling little Mimi"Isn't this odd stuff
This gently falling lovely white fluff?
It falls silent as an Angels wings
Whatever it touch's there it clings
Such a peaceful beauty it brings.
It will be here until the warmth of Spring.

Slowly the flakes fall past my window pane
And gently cover street and country lane.
The ground has turned white where the flowers grew.
It has covered the bench where I sat with you
And soon it will vanish like the love we knew
And cover all my memories before it is through.

You remember the path we strolled beside the lake?
It's something now you wouldn't want to take.
The Swans are gone"Only God knows where
Vanished like the love we had to share.
I lift my eye's to the Heavens in despair
But see only snow flakes falling there.

The snow is coming down harder by the hour
The drifts will soon cover your old rose bower.
The roses you worked so hard to grow
Are now covered by the fallen snow.
And I still see the tears you tried not to show
When I laughed at the thorn scratch's so long ago.

It's odd the memories you can recall
When you sit and watch the snow flakes fall.
I sit alone and wait for the coming night
While outside in the failing light
All is covered by a mantle of white
Tomorrow it will be a beautiful sight.

I arouse myself and go find my bed
It's the loneliness of the long night I dred.
Mimi darling"I miss you since you went away
If just one more time I could hear you say
Dear"Come and see this beautiful day
Hurry get dressed,Lets go out in the snow and play.
