Sintti - the Little Sighthound, our very small fish-like dog, the Hya-cinth ("The Italian Greyhound Residence, Junior of the house speaking"),
Sintti is the greatest good-willing lie his Mom ever let through her teeth: "These bigger iggies are so lovely, being so resistant to accidents and all, I would never like to have an especially small one..." Then one day she met this little one...

Our little special one is often introduced with explanations such as: "truly, he is all grown up. Yes, he is a male and yes, he is of the same breed as the other. Well, he just forgot to grow up..."

Sintti lives for the play. First in the morning and last in the evening he will be seen with a favorite toy between his jaws, often finally ending up sleeping using one of his soft toys as a pillow. As a grown up, he is still a serious-minded little baby, whose childish way of walking (the front legs are thrown directly into the air, 90 or more degrees with an occasional jump of exitement added) and bulleting after anything that moves do not make it any easier to convince any passer-by that we indeed are walking a mature dog here.

What ever he sets into, Sintti is dead serious: playing, sleeping, going wild getting angry, scared, loving, romancing, whatever, it is always very serious business for him...

Being a spirited little fellow, Sintti enjoys greatly his activities: agility, lure coursing and an occasional visit on the race track. He has competed in a few unofficial agility races and participated lure coursing meets with rather nice success - his best placing being 2nd out of 9 IGs in a tough competition in Helsinki last fall with amazing 519 points and CQ.

Sintti has been shown a few times and has been awarded with two CCs.
