My first halo is not the most impressive visual show, but it was a halo anyway. I even have a black and white photograph on it. I also thought there might be the parhelic circle in the sky, but as a critical observer I did not report it. However it is possible that the halo was not caused by upper clouds but a diamond dust falling from lower clouds.
