KNOWN CABALS:

***The Collectors (original)***

Leader: Arlene Conroy

The original group of Object-seekers formed some time after the Event. Led by Arlene Conroy, the manager of the Sunshine Motel, most of the Collectors were killed or driven insane after the disaster in Room 9 in 1966. The survivors hid their most important Objects in a place called "The Collector's Vault", buried beneath an abandoned prison.

He used to work as a guard in the prison in Nevada (The Vault)

Conroy Gus
Arlene Conroy's husband and the Sunshine Motel's janitor (The Conroy experiment)

Echeverri Alec*
His name cames up only twice searching the internet. He died in Ingham Medical Center sanatorium, 1971, from tuberculosis.

Harris Patrick*
Patrick joined a cult to escape from this horrific experience. He claimed he had been enlightened. He died in a mass-suicide of the cult on 1969.

Jeffrey Paul*
Was found overdozed 1976, he was a gifted musician.

Kowalsky Irene*
Sent her Object into safety in a letter to Marcus Lanneker, a professor of paranormal phenomena, and an author of a book called "Modern Power-Artifacts". (The Driver's Licence*). Irene was killed in a car-accident 1968.

Kozack Bayard*
He returned home to his ancestorial farm in Poland. He fell from a horse and died from a hit in the head 1986.

Lancaster Catherine*
Was found in a bath-tub her wrists cut. She survibed but was put in an asulym 1968. She died 1973 in unclear circumstances.

Lanneker Sara*
Died in a horrified fire three months after the Conroy Experiment in 1966.

Strizke Barbara
Last survivor of the original Collectors, Harold strizke's aunt (The Comb)



***The Collectors (new)***

Leader: Joe Miller

Founded by Joe Miller after the events seen in The Lost Room miniseries. Their goal is to gather information about the Objects, the Room and The Event. (a RPG campaign)

***The Legion***

Leader: Unknown

A cabal dedicated to collecting the Objects and stopping them from causing more harm. They claim to follow an established set of rules, including that they never kill in order to acquire the Objects, although this rule is sometimes put to the test.

Seen editing the Conroy Experiment film with Jennifer Bloom. He then betrays the cabal.

***The Order of the Reunification***

Leader: Margaret Milne

Also referred to as "The Order" or "The New Religion". They believe that the Objects are pieces of God's corpse and must be reunited. Once so restored, members of the Order would be able to communicate with God for the first time in human history. More extreme views hold that restoring the Objects will allow one to become God, or else achieve God-like power. Unlike the Legion, The Order have no qualms about killing.
