Simple tool to view and unpack LZX-archives created (usually) on Amiga-computers.

Based on freely available ANSI-C source code (unlzx.c 1.1 (03.4.01)) by Erik Meusel and Dan Fraser.

Rewritten to C++ and GUI added by me. Sources available in my github repo.

Freeware. Written in 2011.

Some features:

• Viewing of archive-file contents
• Extraction to user-selected path
• Creates sub-folders also on extraction
• Should work with merged files also (at least it does in my tests..)

Some planned stuff:

• Testing archive-file integrity
• Additional extraction-related features (setting attributes, timestamps etc.)
• Better meta-info viewing..?
• Concatenated archives in single file..? (need sample-file for testing..)

LZX-archiver was originally created by Jonathan Forbes and Tomi Poutanen for use on Amiga-computers.

Many files packed with it still exist (even Microsoft CAB-files use it) but tools to unpack are now rare on other platforms.

Install by simply unzipping files to a wanted place. Qt DLLs also necessary, see separate package.
