Puppies ~ Fauni's Offspring
I must confess...
Beautiful Saluki girls are my big weakness.
I was quite young when I met my first love. One day the doorbell
rang, and there she was, Balisha. Balisha was so full of grace
and glamour with her exotic American accent inherited from her father.
It was love at the first sight! As a result, I became a proud Dad.
Our babies are called the Kirman O-puppies, born August 21st 1998.
One of the 9 puppies moved to Israel, while the rest of them stayed
in Finland. I have met my children quite often and it has been nice
to see them follow my footsteps in shows and out on the lure coursing
fields.
Kirman O-litter (4 + 5): Olynthos, Oneiros, Oreias, Orestes, Obadiah, Obeah, Omarah, Oresteia and Oriade. 
In 2001 I ran in Swedish lure coursing event
for the very first time – and won the race. When we got back
home, I had some fan e-mail waiting for me. It was from
a Swedish Saluki girl. We kept writing to each other, and summer
2002 I finally met her. And was she beautiful or what – a blond
Swede with mysterious dark eyes… Her name is Suha, and our romance
proves that true love knows no state borders.

were born September 13th 2002, and as a responsible father,
I agreed to share the flat with my son Tuikku, like you know.
Well, I must say that when Mum first presented the idea to me,
I wasn't too pleased about it. What if the puppy thinks my toys
are his toys, too? What if the puppy wants to eat from my bowl?
Or even worse: what if the puppy wants to play with me???
But my heart melted the first moment I saw my son. He grew up to
be a close friend and we had so much fun together. Sadness was overwhelming
when in spring 2005 he suddenly fell ill and left us. A Wathba T-litter (5 +
5): Timin Sattam, Tamm Abdul-Rafi, Tammin Al-Hadiye, Thamir
Abdul-Haqq, Tamouz Usama, Thabiya Hiyyeh 'l-ahla, Tohfa Raja
Yasmeen, Thara' Almira, Thurayya Al-Shama and Trima Bint-Helwa. 
Two progeny groups
from 2006.Left Fauni with his kids Kirman Wariman, Al Wathba Thamir Abdul-Haqq & Tohfa Raja Yasmeen and Kirman Obadiah after their placement as BIS 2 progeny in Råneå spec. The judge commented about this group: "Congratulations. All the male gave is a big present to the breed of Saluki." Right Fauni's progeny group in Al Wahba meeting. The group includes Al Wathba Thamir Abdul-Haqq, Tohfa Raja Yasmeen and Tamouz Usama.
And as if it was a destiny,
at the same time Mum and I felt so sad about our little ray of
light Tuikku, there was little Wariman without a home of his own.
At first a new puppy seemed an impossible idea to Mum, but when she
saw how much I missed a saluki companion, she slowly changed her mind.
So one Saturday little Wariman took a train and moved to us. It did
take me some days to understand that this creature with his sharp teeth
is now my new flatmate, but he seems to love running as much as I do,
and therefore it didn't take long before I started to like him a lot!
Yes, and we call him Veeti now. Kirman W-litter (3 + 2):

Time flies, but handsome gentlemen won't loose their
charm, don't you think ;) In the beginning of 2005 I had a pleasure
to meet lovely Tico. She is a golden girl with classic beauty, quite
what I like. My little "evening stars" were born March 14th 2005
at kennel Kirman.
