Kasvatustyöni on pienimuotoista, harrastuspohjalla olevaa työtä. Tavoitteenani on rotumääritelmän mukainen, terve ja reipas koira.
Jalostukseen käyttämät narttuni ovat palkittuja vähintään SA:lla, tervesilmäisiä ja lonkkaisia. Olen uusinta tarkastuttanut narttujen silmät ennen astutusta - PRA:n varalle. Shetlanninlammaskoiran pentujen silmät olen tutkituttanut virallisesti ennen luovutusta.

My breeding work is strictly on hobby basis and in a small scale. My aim is to breed Shelties that fit to the Standard of the Shetland Sheepdog – and to breed Kleinspitzes that fit to the Standard of the Kleinspitz. They must also be sound both healthwise and temperamentally.
My breeding bitches in Shelties have clear eyes and clear HD score, the Kleinspitzes have clear eyes and clear knee score. They have also got from shows at least CCQ (Certificate Quality) – after the change in Show Rules after 1.1.2003 that equals Excellent. Also the eyes are always re-checked for PRA before matings. Sheltie puppies eyes are officially checked for CEA before they go to their new homes.
