24.12.2006 Merry Christmas to all our love ones, besides relatives, we have many dear friends who are always there for us. We can´t thank you enough for beeing such a good friends and like to thank all of you for passed year which has been filled with joy and sometimes also sorrow. We want also take the opportunity to thank the owners of our breedings, you have really taken good care of your dogs, been active and given them a life worth living. We are so happy that you have taken a puppy from us, we couldn't have hoped better owners for our breedings!

24.12.2006 Noomi has mated with Cosmo, this was maybe Cosmo's best Christmas present ever... This heat was somehow "weird", so we'll be more surprised if there come any puppies than if there won't be any. First the season was late and then the best days were different from Noomi's normal season. This was 15th day of her heat and according to progesteron test and Cosmo, this was the first suitable day to mate :-0 Noomi wasn't willing at any point (it was in our place from her 11th day of this heat), so maybe this heat was somehow weird and there won't be any puppies :( If that is the case, we'll try once more from Noomi's next heat, and that is expected to be in August 2007.
21.12.2006 Cosmo's medal party:) Thanks for everyone celebrating with us, you made the day to remember for a long time: Anna-Maija, Carita, Elina, Hanna, Heidi & Jussi, both Jenni, Toni & Ronja, Marjo & Raimo, Mauri & Santeri, Mila & Toni, Pia, Sari, Sessa, Sirpa, Jalle & Jenna, Tiina and of course Jaakko, who was honoured to keep the only speech of the evening. Thank you also to Noora for sponsoring delicates! We got a lot of presents (even though those were not allowed) as you can see in the picture. I think Cosmo has to start loose his weight in the January after eating all those hamburgers, bones and other things :-0 Some people were celebrating couple of hours and some even 13 hours... Cosmo was with us through the night with a tie in his neck. I hope we can have a party for someone from this same group next year! Lets keep going in 2007 with aforisms that were in Cosmo's cards: "There isn't 20 obstacle in the agilitycourse, there are 20 opportunities" and "Only deeds aren't enough for great achievements, you also need dreams, not only planning, but also faith".
10.12.2006 Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita came third in Nordic Championships! Jaakko Suoknuuti and Dea were fifth, our family is the best :) Also Finnish maxi team got pronze. Thank you for our friends we are training with, Vappu Alatalo (mental training and support), food sponsor Eukanuba and to everyone who has remembered us with congrates!
10.12.2006 Noomi started her season. There will be exactly seven weeks difference with Noomi's and Zen's puppies. Noomi's puppies are expected to be born at week 8.
9.12.2006 Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita made a clear round in jumping course in Denmark and came fifth. Jaakko Suoknuuti and Dea came fourth. Jaakko and Dea came also fifth in International course and they got a Danish certificate!

6.12.2006 Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Jaakko Knuutti won an agility competition in class III! There were 50 dog in that class. This was Vimma's first leg for agility champion title, absolutely fantastic, congratulations!

19.11.2006 Snoopy (Decathlete's Carpe Diem) and Hanna Heikniemi came second in agility class III! Congratulations Hanna, excellent course, even though "it was impossible course to do..." :) In the same course Noomi (Eyewitness Puzzling Twist) and Janita came the third. This was Noomi's fifth clear round in class III. Also Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Jaakko Knuutti made a clear round, quite amazing that four months ago Vimma wasn't even old enough to compete and now she has already results for next year's team qualifications and Finninsh Championships :-0 Congratulations for your great success! And that wasn't all, because also Aino (Decathlete's Fidus Achates) and Mia Laamanen made a clear round, congratulations for you too :)

12.11.2006 Agility competitions in Turku. In the first course Noomi (Eyewitness Puzzling Twist) came second and Hugo (Never Stop Artist of Decathlete's) came third, both were handled by Janita. Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti came fourt and Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Jaakko Knuutti came fifth, also with a clear rounds. Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won the second competition and Noomi (Eyewitness Puzzling Twist) and Janita came second again. Space (Noomi's father) and Jenni Leino took the third place :)

10.9.2006 Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita won sundays first competition in Oulu. In day´s second competition Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti claimed their third win of the weekend! Janita also run clear rounds with both Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet) and Cosmo placing third and fourth. This was Zen´s seventh clear round in class III, which means that she earned the right to compete in 2007 Finnish Championships and also in the 2007 World Championship Qualifications. Quite amazing achievement for a yougster who just started her agilitycareer less than seven weeks ago...

Zen and Jaakko made also a clear run in jumping course and Zen came second in our district championships! Congratulations, you two are just unbelievable! Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita made also two clear runs and they were fourth in total. This was Cosmo's seventh clear round after qualifications so he earned the right to compete in 2007 Finnish Championships and also in the 2007 World Championship Qualifications. Congratulations also to our dearest friends Konna and Jenni Leino, who were 3rd in this district championships! Our team (Cosmo and Tekla & Janita and Konna and Space & Jenni) came second in team championships, we are sooooo goooood :)

2.9.2006 Magnificent agilityday for Ludde´s offspring! First Juju (Decathlete's Gryffindor) and Veijo Koistinen won class I agility competition with clear run and earned agilitysertificate and ticket to class II, congratulations! Then Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Jaakko Knuutti competed in class II and run two faultless courses taking first and third place and gaining the right to compete in class III! Unbelievable how fast all have been able to make so many fast and clear runs and get into higher classes. I am so happy for all of you! And last but not least, Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti, took their first win, obviously with a clear run, in class III. Same time they earned first leg out of three to become an agility champion! Hopefully we will be celebrating another Decathlete´s agility champion after a year has passed from Zen`s first victory :) I have no more words to congratulate you...

In jumping course Cosmo won and Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti were third! Quite a start in class III, this was Zen's first clear round result for next years team qualifications and she just started to compete one month ago! Congratulations also to Dea and Marjo, who placed third and second. This was Warriors's (our team) day once again :)

Judge was doupting if the clock was broken: "Is that clock working, that time can't be true..." :-0 There were 19 obstacles, including A-frame and dogwalk, Zen passed the course in 31 seconds... So she got to the class III, little less than a month after 1,5 years birthday and all clear rounds were also winnings :)

14.8.2006 Aino (Decathlete's Fidus Achates) and Snoopy (Decathlete's Carpe Diem) were in BAER-hearing test. Aino's hearing was normal. Snoopy's left ear was normal, but his right ear hears worse. That explains why he doesn't hear always everything and why he has difficulties to perceive where the sounds come from. I hope everyone who has Tekla's relatives will inform me if there is something unusual in their hearing. I also hope that people who are using Tekla's relatives to breeding will test already puppies with BAER-test.

Janita was also competing with Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and the result was winning the class II with a clear round :) Cosmo and Janita made a clear round also in jumping course and they came second. 7.8.2006 Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti won two agility competitions in class I and got to the class II! Also Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Jaakko Knuutti made two clear rounds and they got to the 2dn and 4th place! So in the second course sisters took double winning :) There were a really high level in these competitions, many experienced handlers with new dogs and 63 and 50 participants in maxi I-class. You both had absolutely fantastic courses, congratulations! *bow*

25.7.2006 Hugo (Never Stop Artist of Decathlete's) hurt himself in swimming trip, he got a deep wound in his backleg and two strings were cut off :( His leg is now in a gypsum for three weeks and after that in support bandage for six weeks. If everything goes like planned, he can possibly start agility again in the beginning of the year 2007.
22-23.7.2006 Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita got to the Finnish Agility Team. Agility World Championships will be kept in Switzerland 6th-8th of October and Nordic Championships will be kept in Denmark 10th of December. Hugo (Never Stop Artist of Decathlete's) surprised again making a clear round in first three courses and being the fourth in total after that! In two last courses we got one mistake and Hugo was the 10th in total after the weekend. Absolutely fantastic work for uor youngster who started comting in agility just a year ago :) Tekla unfortunately slipped in the third course and didn't get to the last two courses after that :(

Ludde's and Jatsi's puppies team "Tylypahkan tähdet" won the starters team competition with superior result! There were 36 teams in this competition. Congratulations for the whole team for your absolutely fantastic courses! Starters team: Ninja (Decathlete's Firebolt) and Julianna Kemppainen, Vimma (Decathlete's Fidelius Charm) and Jaakko Knuutti, Juju (Decathlete's Gryffindor) and Veijo Koistinen and Zen (Decathlete's Sirius Black) and Jaakko Suoknuuti.
Our own team "Best of All" won the competitors team competition with superior result! There were 104 teams competing in this class. Our team: Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet) and Janita, Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita, Space (Laetare Bowler Jack) and Jaakko Suoknuuti and Noel (Festivo Uranos) and Juha Orenius.
In open class Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet) and Janita came third, we were the best III-class dog. (I-class dogs have 12 seconds more time to go the course and II-class dogs have 6 seconds more time to go the course than III-class dogs.)
Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet) and Janita won the Finnish Open Championships first course. Also Cosmo and Hugo made clear rounds and got to the finals. There were 130 dogs in this class and only 12 of them made a clear round, three of them were my dogs!
Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita made a clear round in Finnish Open Championships and we came to the third place. Tekla had the fastest time, but unfortunately on pole came down :(
In class III evening competition Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet) and Jaakko Suoknuuti came third with a clear run, congratulations and thank you for a clean run :) Also Cosmo and Janita made a clear course, this time we came to the fourth place.

29.6.2006 Snoopy (Decathlete's Carpe Diem) and Sari Niemi got a first prize again in water rescue competitions! They got 92 points out of 100 and they have now two legs for water rescue champion title, wow, absolutely fantastic, congratulations to our waterbeasts :)
18.6.2006 Agility Finnish Championships in Lappeenranta. There were 148 competitors in maxi dogs. After the first course Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) was leading with 0,5 second advantage. Hugo (Never Stop Artist of Decathlete's) made also a clear round and was in the 27th placement. Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet) had a fast course, but unfortunately she drop one pole down, so she didn't get to the second course. In the final Hugo made a great course and he came to the 5th place in total! Quite a result from 2-years old "funnyboy". I chose a wrong handling with Cosmo and we disqualified the final course.
17.6.2006 Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet), Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Hugo (Never Stop Artist of Decathlete's) made a clear round in agility competition. Tekla won the class, Cosmo was second and Hugo was 7th :) There were 79 competitors in class III maxi dogs.
17.6.2006 Snoopy (Decathlete's Carpe Diem) and Sari Niemi continued their absolutely fantastic water rescue summer by winning their first competition in the highest class with 95 points out of 100! This was their first leg for water rescue champion title, quite a thing to do, congratulations!
10.6.2006 Tekla (Decathlete's Black Velvet), Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Hugo (Never Stop Artist of Decathlete's) made a clear run in a jumping class III, Janita was handling all of them :) Tekla came second and Cosmo and Hugo splitted the fourth place, they had exactly the same time. There were only 0,3 second differences between the winner and the fifth one...

One day we only wondered if she will survive or does she have internal bleeding. Luckily she is pure steel. Her front paw is in plaster for six weeks and her front teeth had to take away. The doctors gave 80-90 % possibility to get her back like she was before falling. We hope our little angel will get better soon and thank you for everyone for sending those comforting messages! 8.5.2006 Visse (Zagala Fantacy Fame) has moved to the better running fields :( Her age, 13,5 years, started to show, lying down and getting up wasn't so easy anymore. This was a really heavy decision, but I didn't want to wait so long that she would had to live in pain. Just yesterday she was still running in the forest and going agility weaving poles, so she had a full life all the way to the end. Thank you Visse for everything, you wasn't the easiest one, but only because of you ,I'm where I'm today. You made me to work 10 different dog hobbies, you inspired me to start working with problem dogs, you got seven puppies and there are one of the best bordercollies in Finland in this litter. You have 54 grandchildren, so your genes will always be among Finnish bordercollies. Many people has chosen to have a bordercollie after getting to know you, you will always live as a Champion in my mind, good night honey, I'll always love and rebember you!

16.4.2006 Snoopy (Decathlete's Carpe Diem) and Hanna Heikniemi-Patama won an agility competition in class III and now Snoopy is a Finnish Agility Champion (FIN AGCH)! We couldn't stop tears in this Cinderella story. Snoopy hurt himself badly in August 2005, all the four bones in his back leg had a fracture and the paw went around. Snoopy had his paw in a packet for months and he could start agility again just one month ago, after six months total brake, not even walking or running during that time. Thank you Hanna for Champion partys (where else is a club where all the members are ready to drink on Sunday and only five minutes warning time...) and congratulation for just perfect course, I'm so happy I was there at the moment and could enjoy the whole competition with you!

Jaakko Knuutti was handling Tekla and Janita was handling Ludde. There were 67 participants in this class and we sheared the silver :) In the same course Cosmo (Tending Magic Mind) and Janita made also a clear run and we were fourt right after Tekla and Ludde!
