"Hugo"

Hugo has born on the 8th of January 2004. His eyes were ok as a puppy and 2005 and he was DNA tested normal, so he is not carrying CEA in his genes. Hugo has A-A hips and 0-0 elbows, both the best possible :) Also Hugo's three littermates has A-A hips, one hasn't been in x-rays yet.

I was visiting Never Stop-kennel in february 2004 in Sweden. There were interesting combination and I wanted to see the "parents" in action. Hugo's mother Honey was exactly something I have always liked. Open, friendly and peaceful when nothing happens and right away ready to work, if you offer something to do. She was also very quiet, I didn't hear any whining or barking during the visit, even though we saw her herding sheep and doing agility. Hugo's father, Flip, was the opposite with full of energy. Flip got to my heart with open ja positive nature. We saw also him herding and going obedience. Hugo had not so common colour in his head, he liked to play and he didn't have any dominance in his temper, so I decided to bring him to Finland.

We were supposed to keep Hugo only for the sosialication period and then find him a good and active home. But he won the whole family's heart and it looks like he came to stay. Hugo has a very strong herding instinct. He loved swimming right away when he first time saw water, so maybe we'll start water rescue with him later. The main hobby will be agility, but as one year old Hugo got in obedience: 197 points out of 200 in class I, 183 points out of 200 in class II, 302,5 points out of 320 in class 3 and he got a Finnish Obedience Champion title as 1 year and 7 months old :) In May 2005 Huupi passed the behaviour test BH. Hugo was just 18 months and 4 days when he got to the class II in agility. He made three clear rounds in a row in three days :) Hugo won his first agility competition in Finland in class II and in class III. He needs two more winnings to be an agility champion. Hugo had enough results to take part ot the Finnish Championships 2006 and qualifications for a Finnish Agility Team in just a few months and in Finnish Championships 2006 he came 5th, as 2-years old! Hugo has had puppies with Tending Brownie "Yoko".
