DECATHLETE'S FUSEES

"Fasse"

While my girlfriend Kati took part in various competitions and practises with her dog, I just hanged around watcing and helping to build an agilitycourse. After a while I got fed up. I had to have a dog of my own!  Prior to Fasse I have not had any kind of pet of my own.

Since day one has Fasse been very open and friendly dog towards everybody. One of Fasse´s nicknames is the "Doggiefriend". With Fasse we have taken part in various happenings, where children have been able to hug and pet their "Doggienfriend" Fasse as much as they want. Fasse has great social skills. One could not even imagine Fasse having a fight with someone. Fasse also likes very much to lie as near us as possible, unlike our other dogs who need their space.

Fasse obeys humbly every order and is very eager to please. For example there is never need to keep Fasse in leash to control him. He always takes care himself that he is close by and it never even crosses his mind to wander off. There is only one situation where is often need to raise ones voice to Fasse: when herding instinct kicks in it is possible that Fasses hearing gets a bit worse than normal :) High herding instinct has made training Fasse occasionally more demanding for us. You just cant reward the dog with ball every time.

Fasse is mainly trained in obedience. He has also tried message, tracking, agility and herding. Fasses hobbies also include doing various tricks and fetching frisbee. He is very, very fast which would make him especially gifted in message trials. Our main problem to get to compete in messagetrials is, that he has become so attached to me that he is not very keen to run to Kati at the other end of the track. Not even the best rewards can beat his devotion to Ville. He is very much a one man´s dog.

Fasse likes to "sing" a lot. He sigs with a voice that reminds the voice of an elephant. Fasu gets  everybody he sings to laugh hard with no exceptions :)
