Phelon & Moore in Finland in the twenties and thirties...
As far as I know about my P&M history today, the second owner was Aarne (Armas) Laine in Turku, Finland. His daughter Salme Kaarlas still had a few photographs left of his father and the P&M.
Phelon & Moore was transported to the second owner Armas Laine on a truck around 1926 or 1927.

The same bike in late twenties. Registration plate T43.
The proud owner Aarne Laine with a passenger in the thirties ...

His daughter Salme testing the bike...

Registration book dated from 1936 still exist ...
An interesting detail was found during the restoration of the bike: I didn't find any trace of the frame number although the paint was stripped from the whole frame. The motor number at the crankcase was not found either by the authorities, in the thirties so the bike was registered with the Lucas type code 1900A, stamped on the magdyno. This was well visible on top of the crankcase.

Also insurance certificates from the same period.

The bike registration number was changed later
to be T-690.
The plates were removed in autumn 1939, before the winter war between Finland
and Sovijet Union was started.
The aluminium footrests of the bike had to be removed and given for re-use, as the military had vast shortage of aluminium.

Phelon & Moore was advertising the Panther in 1923 as follows:
