GOODFELLASRACINGTEAM started racing in 1999 in the Roadsport class (in finnish Roadsport-Harrasteautoluokka). Roadsport is a Historic Race Finland's club serie for 2-wheel drive cars manufactured before 1985. The rules are pretty free but all the changes allowed are in the book. Cars are shared in three classes A, B and C according to the calculated power/weight ratio. For cars powered by V8 there is an own class. GOODFELLASBMW belongs to the C-class.

GOODFELLASBMW is basically a 1502 year 1976 but it has gone through serious modifications. There has been used parts from at least BMW 3-series E21, 5-series E12, 2002, Volvo, Opel and Ford. More about that in the Tech-section. The 1502 is basically a cheaper version of BMW 2002 which ruled the circuits in the late 60's and the early 70's. In the 21st century the "Sheer driving pleasure" is still there and the old bimmer has the potential to win races.
