BOB, Group 3rd July 2004.

This charming fellow is Joose. He is Lillie's son and thus Jimi's grandson. He moved to us in November -01 and has since been living under his mother's tender care. That means, to be honest, that Joose has got a rather "free upbringing" - Lillie hasn't been a very strict mother ;-)

Joose's first steps in the show rings were quite promising: he won BOB, SBOS & BOS in puppy classes and several class wins with CAC-quality in juniors with placements in the Best Male competitions that made him #2 Junior Male in 2002!

Joose won his first official Best of Breed in July 2003 under breed specialist Mr Stephen Wheeler (Jacosta). He also went Best in Group the same day! Thank you Mr Wheeler for this unforgettable win!

Joose is an afghan with lots of energy and he greatly enjoys his hobbies: in addition to shows (that have been quite few since he completed his Finnish Ch title in 2004), he is having fun doing, more or less actively, some agility, obedience, coursing and racing. And not to forget running in the dog parks with friends - old or new, small or big, you name it!

Joose is the father of one litter born at Nabila's afghans in 2003. Dam of the litter is Fin Dual Ch Nabila's Moccasin Molly "Divah". The litter has turned out to be a nice combination of beauty and performance based on the results:
- all 8 have been graded "Excellent" at shows
, and their other results include (so far...)
- 1 Conformation Champion and 3 other CAC or res-CAC winners
- 1 Coursing Champion and 2 other Coursing CAC winners
- 1 Track Racing Champion
- 1 dog competing in Obedience Winner Class
You can see pictures of the puppies at Joose's relatives-page!

Joose's show year 2004 was just great: he was shown five times in open class, resulting:
- 2nd Best Male, res-Cacib, res-CAC (judge: Ian Smith, NZ)
- Best of Breed, CAC, Group 1st (Joao Vieira Lisboa, P)
- 4th Best Male, res-CAC at the Finnish National Specialty  (Roberta Hall, UK)
- res-CAC (Ben Reynolds-Frost UK) and
-
Best of Breed, CAC, New Champion, Group 3rd (Orvo Virtanen, Fin & Åke Cronander, S)

In October he won his first CACIB by going Best of Breed and Group 2nd (Agnes Ganami-Kertes, Isr & Torbjörn Skaar, S).

A few weeks later, on October 23, Joose went 4th Best Male at Seinäjoki int show, judged by Moa Persson from Sweden.

Those results made him #4 Male in 2004!

In 2005, Joose's biggest win was at Trondheim, Norway in June, when he won BOB, CAC, N CH, CACIB, Group 1st and finally BIS-2! Thank you judges Ms Agnes Ganami-Kertes, Israel (Breed & Group) and Ms Jean Lanning, Canada (BIS) for another unforgettable day!

Joose completed the requirements for his Int Ch title in 2006 with two consecutive wins:
- Best of Breed, CACIB Eckerö Int (Edwina Thomas, Aut) and
- Best of Breed, CACIB, Est Ch Tartu Int (Zafra Sirik, Isr)
